The tree set up, the family surprised, our belly's full, we dismissed ourselves from the joyous, yet out of the way and rather dark home, back to the el camino and the other Christmas tree which still lay unclaimed.
We had two Christmas trees in the back of an el camino as we sped down the road in an excited paranoia.
To whom should these trees be given, was the obvious question as we slowly realized an apb had not been issued. We quickly decided upon one woman. She was the church janitor. She lived in a tiny home close to the church with her two children.
