What is T«CAL?

T«CAL, Texas Christian Athletic League, is a vision from the Lord. A vision for an organization comprised of Christian schools which hold fast to Christian ethics and conduct while at the same time desire an arena of competition on a state wide level.

 

What sports or athletics does T«CAL offer?

T«CAL currently offers 6-Man Football, Flag Football, Basketball, (Girls) Volleyball, Track & Field, Cross Country, Tennis and Golf.

 

What is necessary to join T«CAL?

A. An understanding of the "Belief" and "Mission" of T«CAL B. Speak to one of our directors. C. Sign an enrollment contract. D. A sincere desire to serve the Lord.

 

What is the "Belief" of T«CAL?

T«CAL is a ministry first and foremost, dedicated to building the body of Christ through extracurricular activities.

 

What is the "Mission" of T«CAL?

T«CAL is dedicated to organize, stimulate, encourage, promote and increase the Kingdom of Christ through academic, athletic, and ministry programs.

 

What is the "Motto" of T«CAL?

T«CAL's motto is "God's standard is.....excellence!"

 

Is athletic competition all that T«CAL offers?

T«CAL has academic competition as well. These competitions range from the Arts and Science to Music and Literature. There are also unique "TEAM T«CAL" events, including ski trips, chapel services and missions trips.

 

I am a small school with limited high school students, how can I compete?

T«CAL offers a venue for both small and large schools.

 

I have home school students as part of my high school enrollment, can I compete in T«CAL?

T«CAL is the ONLY league in the state that offers home schoolers the opportunity to compete with a group, or with an established school. All other T«CAL student eligibility requirements are applicable.
