NEW! For the remainder of the 2009-2010 school year T«CAL schools/teams are required to use TASO or UIL certified officials for all contests.
As of the 2010-2011 School year, ALL officials will be required to attend or view the T«CAL A.C.C.O.R.D video presentation, and officials must be registered and certified through the U.I.L in order to officiate any T«CAL contests.
To locate officials in your area contact the Texas Association of Sports Officials or the U.I.L.
Officials' pay, including mileage reimbursement, is soley agreed upon between athletic directors/administrators of each school, and local TASO chapter representatives during ongoing discussions. Subject to change annually.
